To access MS SQL database using ASP.Net Enterprise Manager please follow the below steps.
Inside ASP.Net enterprise manager, click on the database name in the left panel to select it. You can access existing Tables, Views, Stored Procedures, Users and Roles by clicking on the respective icons on the right panel.
Create a new table:
To create new tables click on the New Table child item on the left panel under Tables item and fill up the details for creating the table and click on the Save Table button.
Modify an existing table:
In order to modify a table, click on that table name under Tables item in left panel. The Table Properties dialog will appear.
On the top right side of the Table Property dialog, there are four icons with following functionality from left to right respectively -
Create a stored procedure:
In order to create a Stored Procedure click on the New Procedure child item under Stored Procedures item on the left panel. Insert the stored procedure code in the dialog and click on Save.
Modify an existing stored procedure:
In order to modify a Stored Procedure click on the procedure name child item under Stored Procedures item on the left panel. Modify the stored procedure code in the dialog and click on Save.
Modify an existing or add new database user:
In order to modify or add database users click on the Database Users icon as highlighted in the image bellow. It will open the Database Users management window. In this window existing users can be modified by click on their name in the list and new users can be added by clicking on the New User link on the top-left side of the window.
Run SQL command or script:
In order to run SQL command or script, click on the Query icon on the top of the ASP.Net Enterprise Manager. It will open the Query window. You can type your SQL command or copy-paste your SQL script in the query window and click Run Query button to execute the command or script.
