Enable Two Factor Authentication 2FA on WHM and Cpanel

Enable 2FA on WHM Panel with Root User

Step 1: Click on WHM >> Two Factor Authentication and toggle the bar to make it enabled and click on save.


Step 2: Click on "Manage My Account" and Scan the QR Code across all the devices that will access to the WHM panel with root user.


Step 3: For the first time setup enter the security code from any one device and click on Configure Two-Factor Authentication


Step 4: Logout from the WHM Panel and Login again with root user


Step 5: Open the authenticator App from any devices where the 2FA account is setup and paste the Security Code to login to the WHM Portal


Enable 2FA on Cpanel with Cpanel User

Step 1: Login to the Cpanel with the Cpanel User and search for Two Factor Authentication


Step 2: Click on Setup Two Factor Authentication


Step 3: Scan the QR Code across all the devices that will access to the Cpanel with Cpanel user.


Step 4:  For the first time setup enter the security code from any one device and click on Configure Two-Factor Authentication


Step 5: Logout and Log Back In with Cpanel User


Step 6: Open the authenticator App from any devices where the 2FA account is setup and paste the Security Code to login to the Cpanel with Cpanel User
