How to view and clear event log in windows server

The Windows event log is a detailed record of system, security and application notifications stored by the Windows operating system that is used by administrators to diagnose system problems and predict future issues.

1. Type Run on the search box present on Task Bar.

2. Now type "eventvwr" .
3. Click on OK to continue.
4. Event Viewer Window will appear.

5. Expand Windows Logs.

6. Click on appropriate log type(Application, security, setup, system) under Event Viewer explorer.
7. Click on Clear Log from Actions explorer.
8. Click on "Clear" to clear all logs relevant to Application.
