How to install Let's Encrypt SSL Certificate on a Website in Solid CPSSL certificate can be installed on Window 2016 and Window 2012 servers. It will not work with Window 2008 OS. Following are the steps to install the SSL on Solidcp. Important Notes: Let's Encrypt SSL Certificate is available with SolidCP 1.4.3 version and above versions only. Sign In to Control panel.
a. Install (free) Lets Encrypt Certificate. b. Install normal Certificate. Note : If you already have the SSL click on Upload Certificate, otherwise please proceed to generate the CSR with clicking on Generate CSR.
a. Select Certificate Type: -- choose the domain from the drop-down menu to which you wish to install the SSL. b. Bit Length: -- the certificate length, you can leave it at the default 2048bit. c. Organisation: -- your company name. d. Organisation unit: -- your company department. e. Country: -- choose your country from the drop-down menu. f. State/Province: -- type in the state/province which you wish to show on the SSL. g. City/Locality: -- the city where you reside.
