Setup Domain Redirection to external URL in Plesk

Step 1: To reconfigure an existing domain and make it a domain forwarder please follow the below steps

1. Visit the URL http://<your_domain>:8880 or https://<your_domain>:8443 (For SSL) and login.

2. Go to Websites & Domains tab and click on Hosting Settings as given below.

3. Click on the [Change] for the Hosting Type.

4. A. Select the hosting type as Forwarding from the dropdown.

   B. In the Destination address field, type the domain name to which you want to redirect visitors.

   C. Under Forwarding type, select the preferred type of forwarding. With Moved permanently, a user is redirected to the site and the actual site's address is shown in the user's browser, so the user always knows that he or she is redirected to another address. With Frame forwarding, a user is redirected to the site without knowing that the site actually resides at another location, therefore, frame forwarding should be preferred.

A popup will inform that the redirection process is complete.
